The hospice is the annex building of the old presbytery, located in the largest fruit-growing region of Western Europe. It has served as a relief center for the poor and needy of Mettekoven, later as a town-hall and as a permanent location for clubs. The hospice itself is a renovation / reconstruction of 1859. The hospice is several decades older.

- The front yard of the presbytery, with garden chairs and table, is available to the guests. An ideal place to enjoy an aperitif or breakfast.
